2 DAYS 1 NIGHT - WALK THE TORQ [BASIC-SERVICE]
Take your first steps on the World's Highest Via Ferrata and learn how to Walk The Torq (WTT). WTT is an initiation for those who want to build up their confidence in Via Ferrata activity.
BASIC-SERVICE STANDARD ITINERARY
DAY 1 
D 
Pendant Hut
D Pendant Hut0800hrs: Arrive at Kinabalu Park HQ (it takes approximately 2hrs drive journey from Kota Kinabalu city to the Park HQ). Upon arrival, compulsory pre-check in at Mountain Torq's office and present your passport/Malaysian ID card for verification purposes. Next, make your way to Sabah Parks' operation office to make the necessary arrangements/payment for the climbing permit, insurance and mountain guide. Self-arrange your own transport to Timpohon Gate. Start your trekking journey for about 4-5hrs to reach Panarlaban.
1500hrs: Check into Pendant Hut (3,289m) and settle in.
1530hrs: Attend the mandatory Via Ferrata familiarization in Pendant Hut and meet your Mountain Torq trainer.
1800hrs: Dinner will be provided at Laban Rata Restaurant.
2000hrs: Lights out
DAY 2 S / B
S / B0130hrs: Wake up and early morning breakfast/supper will be provided.
0230hrs: Start hiking up to explore the summit, Low's Peak (4,095.2m) and expected to reach the summit in time of sunrise.
0600hrs: Descend from Low's Peak to meet your Mountain Torq trainer.
0715hrs: Meet your Mountain Torq trainer at Sayat-Sayat Slab (3,800m) for Walk the Torq (WTT) Via Ferrata experience (introductory Via Ferrata, French Grade PD).
0930hrs-1000hrs: Return to Pendant Hut for a well-earned late breakfast.
1100hrs: Check out of Pendant Hut and descend to Timpohon Gate.
1600hrs-1700hrs: Estimated time of arrival at Timpohon Gate. Self-arrange your own transport back to Kinabalu Park HQ to collect your successful climb and Via Ferrata certificate or buy some souvenirs.

Package Description
Meals: D - Dinner at Laban Rata Restaurant (1x on day 1), S - Supper @ Pendant Hut (1x on day 2) and B - Simple American breakfast at Pendant Hut (1x on day 2).
Inclusions: 1 night stay at Pendant Hut - based on a dormitory bunk bed (day 1), Via Ferrata activity - Walk The Torq (WTT), Via Ferrata full equipment, Mountain Torq trainer and via ferrata certificate for successful attempt only.
Exclusions: Packed lunch (day 1), late lunch (day 2), all transportation services, all Sabah Parks tariffs & fees; conservation/entrance fee, climbing permit, insurance, mountain guide service and summit achievement certificate, extra drinks & meals, porter fee and any other items not listed in the inclusions list.

Important Notice:
- > Do take note that your passport/IC will be required for verification during registration at the Kinabalu Park office.
- > Please inform us when making the booking if there is a special dietary request (eg. Vegetarian).
- > Climbers MUST attend the compulsory Via Ferrata briefing session in Pendant Hut between 3 pm - 4 pm on day 1.
- > Climbers MUST descend and arrive at the starting point on time by 6.30 am (LPC) or 7.15 am (WTT) for each activity on day 2.
- > Climbers who failed to comply with the timing will not be able to proceed with the selected complimentary Via Ferrata activity. No reimbursement shall be made.
- > Via Ferrata can be canceled due to bad weather for the safety of all climbers, no reimbursement shall be made.
- > If completed climber details are not received 14 days before your arrival, an administration fee of up to RM100.00 per climber will be levied for changes & updates.

It is recommended that all climbers should have themselves medically checked before attempting any mountain climb. If you have a history of suffering from the following ailments, it is highly recommended that you should refrain from climbing: Hypertension, Diabetes, Palpitation, Arthritis, Heart Disease, Severe Anemia, Peptic Ulcers, Epileptic Fits, Obesity (overweight), Chronic Asthma, Muscular Cramps, Hepatitis (Jaundice); or any other disease which may hamper the climber.
