FULL-SERVICE STANDARD ITINERARY
DAY 1

Pendant Hut
PL / D Pendant Hut0600hrs: Meet at the hotel in Kota Kinabalu (KK) city area and transfer to Kinabalu National Park (KNP). The journey takes approximately 2hrs drive. Once arrive at the park HQ, compulsory pre-check-in at Mountain Torq's office with each participant's valid passport or Malaysian ID card before meeting your appointed mountain guide.
0830hrs: Packed lunch en route and transferred to Timpohon Gate. A short briefing by the mountain guide before the start of your trekking journey for about 4-5 hours to reach Panarlaban.
1500hrs: Check into Pendant Hut (3,289m) and settle in.
1530hrs: Attend the mandatory Via Ferrata familiarization in Pendant Hut and meet your Mountain Torq trainer.
1800hrs: Dinner will be provided at Laban Rata Restaurant.
2000hrs: Lights out
DAY 2 S / B / L
S / B / L0130hrs: Wake up and early morning breakfast/supper will be provided.
0230hrs: Start hiking up to explore the summit, Low's Peak (4,095.2m) and expected to reach the summit in time of sunrise.
0600hrs: Descend from Low's Peak to meet your Mountain Torq trainer.
0715hrs: Meet your Mountain Torq trainer at Sayat-Sayat Slab (3,800m) for Walk the Torq (WTT) Via Ferrata experience (introductory Via Ferrata, French Grade PD).
0930hrs-1000hrs: Return to Pendant Hut for a well-earned late breakfast.
1100hrs: Check out of Pendant Hut and descend to Timpohon Gate.
1600hrs-1700hrs: Estimated time of arrival at Timpohon Gate. Meet our representative and transfer to Kinabalu National Park HQ to collect your successful climb and Via Ferrata certificate or buy some souvenirs before proceeding to a restaurant nearby for late lunch. After lunch, transfer back to your hotel in Kota Kinabalu (KK) city area.
1900hrs-2000hrs: Estimated time of arrival in Kota Kinabalu city area.~ END OF TOUR ~

Package Description
Meals: PL - Packed lunch (1x on day 1), D - Dinner at Laban Rata Restaurant (1x on day 1), S - Supper at Pendant Hut (1x on day 2), B - Simple American breakfast at Pendant Hut (1x on day 2) and L - Late Lunch @ Kinabalu Park (1x on day 2).
Inclusions: Round trip transportation between KK town to Park HQ, Round trip transportation between Park HQ to Timpohon Gate, 1 night stay at Pendant Hut - based on a dormitory bunk bed (day 1), Via Ferrata activity - Walk The Torq (WTT), Via Ferrata full equipment, mt. torq trainer, Via Ferrata certificate for successful attempt only, all Sabah Parks' fees and tariffs; conservation fee, climbing permit, insurance, mountain guide service and summit achievement certificate.
Exclusions: Extra drinks & meals, porter fee and any other items not listed in the inclusions list.

Pick-Up and Transport Arrangement:
- > Our friendly representative will greet and meet you at the hotel lobby. Should you encounter difficulties in locating our representative, please call the hotline number given for further assistance.
- > Please take note that all transportation will be based on Seat-In-Coach (SIC). This is a transfer service in which guests may share the vehicle with other guests. This is also a Door-To-Door (DTD) service with multiple pickups and drop-offs throughout the journey, so do expect some delay and short waiting time.
- > We do not recommend you to catch your flight on the same day that you descend the mountain due to possible delays from injuries, tiredness and/or bad weather and traffic conditions.
- > For 2 days 1 night package, the transport will pick you up from your hotel between 0600hrs-0630hrs (please arrange with your hotel for early breakfast).
- > An additional surcharge of RM40.00 per person will be imposed for pick up / drop off service outskirt Kota Kinabalu city area (eg. Nexus Karambunai Resort, Beringgis Beach Resort).
- > Our group rates are quoted without deviation, which means we provide only one return transfer for your group. If your group requires more than one return transfer, additional charges may apply.

> After descending to Kinabalu National Park HQ, all climbers are subjected to a pre-determined pick-up time set by the travel agent with the last transport returning to Kota Kinabalu city is latest by 1800hrs. We will ensure your possible wait of not more than 2 hours at Kinabalu National Park HQ. However, if you missed the last transport (which is unlikely) or wish to depart at your own preferred time, we can arrange a private transfer for you (subject to availability). Please take note that the surcharge of any of the private transfers will have to be borne by you. Private transfer surcharge - RM300.00 per van per way.
Important Notice:
- > Do take note that your passport/IC will be required for verification during registration at the Kinabalu Park office.
- > Please inform us when making the booking if there is a special dietary request (eg. Vegetarian).
- > Climbers MUST attend the compulsory Via Ferrata briefing session in Pendant Hut between 3 pm - 4 pm on day 1.
- > Climbers MUST descend and arrive at the starting point on time by 6.30 am (LPC) or 7.15 am (WTT) for each activity on day 2.
- > Climbers who failed to comply with the timing will not be able to proceed with the selected complimentary Via Ferrata activity. No reimbursement shall be made.
- > Via Ferrata can be canceled due to bad weather for the safety of all climbers, no reimbursement shall be made.
- > If completed climber details are not received 14 days before your arrival, an administration fee of up to RM100 per climber will be levied for changes & updates.

It is recommended that all climbers should have themselves medically checked before attempting any mountain climb. If you have a history of suffering from the following ailments, it is highly recommended that you should refrain from climbing: Hypertension, Diabetes, Palpitation, Arthritis, Heart Disease, Severe Anemia, Peptic Ulcers, Epileptic Fits, Obesity (overweight), Chronic Asthma, Muscular Cramps, Hepatitis (Jaundice); or any other disease which may hamper the climber.
